Clarion.NET is a port of the Clarion language to .NET. Clarion.Net provides an easy way to port Win32 Clarion applications to the .NET platform. If you already know Clarion, then you already know Clarion.Net.

Clarion.Net applications can use any of the Database Drivers available for Clarion Win32,
and Clarion.Net applications can run side-by-side with Clarion Win32 applications, sharing the
same database files. Clarion.Net applications can also bypass the driver layer and use ADO.Net for data access.

Almost every feature of the Clarion language for native Win32 is supported in the .Net implementation. The Clarion.Net compiler also supports several new extensions that provide you with access to the entire .NET Platform.

The .Net compiler produces Microsoft's Intermediate Language (MSIL) that executes under the Common Language Runtime (CLR). The compiler produces 100% verifiable .Net assemblies.
Producing MSIL means that Clarion code can be mixed with any other .NET-supported language
(such as C# and VB .NET) on any .NET-supported platform.
